Daniel Koval and Kristin Kuba are freediving instructors based out of Hawaii. Daniel holds the North American record for the deepest freedive–reaching depths over 110m/360ft. Kristin, an accomplished freediver herself, has set 4 national records and has dove to depths over 80m/262ft. Their dive school makes the freediving and spearfishing community safer through every class.

As a contestant on the popular ABC series, The Ultimate Surfer, Juli brought awareness to women in the traditionally male-dominated board sports community and helped to inspire others to pursue their passions.

Well, my passion for the water and outdoors started many years ago growing up in Tampa Florida. My parents were just a couple of hippie photographers, so weekends were typically spent paddling in a canoe, free diving the springs and hunting for the next campsite all while documenting our every turn. Being outdoors and underwater quickly became second nature to me. As the years progressed, so did the hobbies.
