BOTE and Brew for Wildlife: We Have a Winner

BOTE Paddleboards would like to congratulate Jason Martin on winning the custom SweetWater BOTE Board.

Contest winner Jason Martin with Deb Edwards of Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge and Jared Cramblet of BOTE

The drawing for the board was held Saturday, November 12, at the Greater Gulf Coast Beer Festival.  Deb Edwards, of the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge, drew the winning ticket live on-stage.  ”I’ve never won anything in my entire life,” Martin said.  ”This is amazing.”

The BOTE and Brew for Wildlife campaign was a huge success.  With all of your help, we raised thousands of dollars for the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge.  We would like to thank everyone that attended any of the events and purchased raffle tickets.  We would also like to thank our friends at SweetWater Brewing Company, Mellow Mushroom, Funky Blues Shack, Chan’s Wine World and most of all, The Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge for all of the hard work they do and the continuation of their mission.

Thanks again and be sure to keep an eye out for future events and contests.  Chances are, there will be more chances to win a board that is just as SWEET!!

BOTE and SweetWater at Mellow Mushroom in Destin

BOTE Paddleboards will be kicking it with SweetWater and Mellow Mushroom in Destin throughout the weekend.  We will be bringing the SweetWater board for raffle and our good friends at Mellow Mushroom will be offering a variety of SweetWater brews.  They will have the newest Dank Tank (Goulash – double black, double dry hopped, double IPA) and Crank Tank (Rye pale ale), as well as $3 pints of Sweet Georgia Brown, Blue, 420 and our personal favorite and go-to beer, SweetWater IPA.  If you know anything about beer, you know that’s a steal.

Not only will Mellow Mushroom be offering a crazy variety of SweetWater brews, but for every beer you buy, they will donate $1 to the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge!  So come kick it with us this weekend at the shroom.  Cheers!!

Funky Blues Shack and Baytowne Beer Fest

Our friends at SweetWater Brewing Company and Funky Blues Shack are hosting a party this Friday night, October 21st,  at the Funky Blues Shack at Baytowne Warf.  Come hang out with us and make sure you get your raffle ticket for a chance to win a custom SweetWater BOTE Board.

Also, BOTE will be at the Beer Fest at Baytowne Warf all weekend.  Come find us at the SweetWater tent to register for your chance to win the board.

BOTE and Brew for Wildlife New Additions

BOTE would like to welcome ResortQuest and Salt & Light Outfitters to the BOTE and Brew for Wildlife fundraiser.

Our friends at ResortQuest are adding a free weekend stay at any ResortQuest property so you can enjoy your BOTE Paddleboard on the water.

In addition to the weekend stay at ResortQuest, our friend Dave Simmons with Salt & Light Outfitters is donating a two hour outing.  The outing will include basic paddleboard lessons and an adventure about the boat, Insight, and will be offered to the winner and one guest.   The winners will meet on the water side of the ECWR’s new property on Okaloosa Island where the winner and a guest will learn the basics of paddleboarding.  Then, they will load the boards on a boat and take off to the largest salt marsh between Pensacola and Panama City to do some flat water paddling in an undeveloped and unspoiled area of the Santa Rosa Sound.  While paddling through the marsh, the winner will experience the natural beauty that our area has to offer and encounter numerous species of birds, fish, and often, dolphins.

Cheers, to our newest sponsors making this event that much more incredible.

Good Luck!
